Information for Presenters

Instructions for oral presenters in the concurrent sessions

The following are instructions for presenters:

• Each presenter will have a total of 20 mins. Please note that this must include time for an introduction by the session chair, the presentation and questions from the audience. Therefore, we suggest that you keep your presentation to around 12–15 minutes so that there is enough time for questions from the audience. As a courtesy to other presenters, please stick to this time, as any time that any speaker goes over will eat into the time of other presenters.
• There will be a laptop in each of the rooms at the conference. The laptops have MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat (for PDF).
• Please check in advance of your session that the presentation is available on the laptop. You will find the latest draft of the conference program on the conference website at https://www.pcsi2024.si/scientific-program/.
• There will be a technician available across the rooms during the conference to deal with any technical problems.
• We recommend that you use widescreen size (i.e. 16:9) for your presentation.
• We prefer that you use the laptops provided in the conference rooms for your presentation, but if you need to use your own laptop because you are using non-standardsoftware for the presentation, please let us know as soon as possible by Email ().

Please send your presentation to in advance of the start of the conference. Please indicate the day, time and room number. Alternatively, please bring the presentation with you to the conference but ensure that it is loaded before the start of the session.

Poster format and dimensions

The poster display panels that will be available for poster presentations at the conference measure 1000 × 2000 mm, i.e. width x height (see image below), but not all of this area is available for your poster. The maximum recommended size/format is the A0 print format, i.e. 841 × 1189 mm (width × height). Please consider using the recommended format, although you can also choose any other size (up to a maximum size of 900 x 1700 mm). In any case, your poster must be oriented vertically (portrait).
